French Bank Accounts
We can help to recover funds from French bank accounts of a deceased person. French bank accounts in a sole name or held as Monsieur et Madame can be surprisingly slow and difficult to tackle unless you have specialist help.
Most French bank accounts need to be declared on the French inheritance tax form, even though no tax is due for a UK deceased person, the Tax Office can take 12 months or more to approve the tax certificate. We have developed a service to reduce this time delay to a couple of months (out of lockdown).
